Surnames have been extracted from the births marriages and deaths found in parish registers, as well as from censuses, newspapers, directories etc.
Some fiche have been produced by other organisations; also - as in respect of the census for Cambridgeshire, and in the case of the Norwich Mercury - some have been extracted by other people.
