Some our most popular titles have now been published on CD-ROM, to help those who do not have access to a microfiche reader.

Unless otherwise stated CDs are published by The Family History Shop.

Note: I am putting together collections of people who were recorded outside their area. With the exception of "Londoners at Large" these CDs are called "They came from..."; several can be found in the list below.
These "strays" come from a wide variety of sources. I have included entries from the 1851 Norfolk census for people who came from the place named as title on the CD. I am including strays which I have found so far while listing 1522 boxes of Militia Attestation documents (so far I have done about a third - July 2008). I am now also adding any stray marriages, baptisms and burials I find - it is surprising how far afield people went. For the London towns a baptismal index is also included.

GREAT YARMOUTH SETTLEMENT EXAMINATIONS 1754-1844 This is a full transcript of a record held in the Norfolk Record Office. While most of the people examined are from Norfolk and Suffolk, there are also a good number from further afield.
